The collection of books included in the canon of Scripture by the Roman Catholic Church but not included in the canon by Protestants (from the Greek word apocrypha, “things that are hidden”).

Give me wisdom to engage in healthy conversations about Scripture and humility to learn from others. Help me to test all authorities and beliefs against the Bible, so I can stand firm in Your truth. May Your Word shape my thoughts, words, and actions, drawing me closer to You every day. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
