💁🏻 Concept: Church
The word “church” in the New Testament Greek is ekklesia which means “called out ones” or “assembly.” The term church also refers to the people of God—the community of all true believers for all time. It is a living, organic movement with the aim of fulfilling God’s mission of redeeming the nations.

 

📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 16:18

1. The church is the people of God—not a sect, religion, or building. 
2. The church is the body of Christ—a living, organic movement. 
3. The church’s mission is to transform the nations, making non-followers into followers of Christ.

1. Start a church planting movement like that of the New Testament.
2. Start a Bible study group and call it a church. 
3. Start pursuing your highest potential as a servant of Christ.

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to be part of Your church—not just a building, but a living movement of Your people. Help me to see my role in Your mission clearly. Give me boldness to share my faith, wisdom to plant seeds of truth, and a heart that longs to see lives transformed. Teach me to serve with humility and love. Please enable me to start a church planting movement or simply a church/Bible study in our house. Please let me reach my highest potential as a follower and servant of Christ. Use me for Your glory and for the conquest of the nations.
