💁🏻 Concept: Day-Age Theory
An “old earth” theory of creation that views the days of Genesis 1 as extremely long “ages” of time.

Old Earth Vs. Young Earth
1. God could have created the universe over time. 
2. God could have created the universe instantly. 
3. God created a literal Adam and Eve.

1. Believe in the literal, historical Adam.
2. Believe in the doctrine of the original sin. 
3. Believe in the redemptive work of Christ. 

🎙Discussion:
Why is it important to believe that nothing is impossible for God and that He can do all things? 

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for creating the universe and for making us in Your image. Forgive me for worrying too much when, in reality, there is nothing to fear with You by my side. I believe that You are all-powerful and that nothing is impossible for You. Help me trust in Your Word, knowing that Adam and Eve were real and that through them, sin entered the world. But thank You even more for Jesus, who came to redeem us. Strengthen my faith in Your Word. Let my heart remain firm in believing in Christ’s sacrifice and the hope of salvation. Please make me productive and successful today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
