💁🏻 Concept: Distortion of Roles
After the Fall, the God-ordained roles of men and women were fundamentally distorted as a direct result of sin. This distortion leads to conflict, broken relationships, and power struggles in marriage and society. Instead of servant leadership and loving submission, sin introduced domination, passivity, and rebellion into human relationships. The struggle between men and women is not part of God’s original design but a consequence of the Fall.

📖 Bible Readings: Genesis 3:16
(Genesis 4:7; Genesis 3:16-19; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Colossians 3:18-19; 1 Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5)

1. Sin distorts God’s design for men to lead with love and for women to submit with trust.
2. The Fall resulted in conflict, self-centeredness, and struggles for control.
3. Christ redeems and restores biblical roles, calling people to fulfill their roles under His Lordship.

3. Submit to the Lordship of Christ, and allow His authority to shape your marriage and family.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that sin has distorted the beautiful roles You designed for men and women. Instead of love and unity, we often see pride, selfishness, and division. But through Christ, You have given us the power to restore what was broken. Help me to embrace Your wisdom in my relationships. Teach me to lead with humility, to submit with trust, and to love with Christlike devotion. May my life reflect Your perfect order, bringing healing to my family and community. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
