💁🏻 Concept: Eastern Church
The Eastern Church, now known as the Orthodox Church, separated from the Western Church (Roman Catholicism) in A.D. 1054 due to theological, political, and cultural differences. While both traditions hold to core Christian beliefs, their division reminds us of the importance of unity in Christ. True unity is not found in institutional alignment but in a shared faith in the gospel and a life centered on Christ.

📖 Bible Readings: John 17:20-23
(Romans 16:17; Ephesians 4:1-6; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13, 3:3-4, 12:25; Colossians 3:13-14; Philippians 2:1-3; Titus 3:10-11)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. True unity is spiritual, not merely organizational.
2. Sowing disunity in the church is opposing Christ.
3. True Christians are converted to Christ, not to a religion.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Pursue unity in Christ and avoid causing division.
2. Love fellow believers despite differences.
3. Focus on what unites rather than what divides.

🎙Discussion:
How can we promote love and unity in the body of Christ despite theological and cultural differences?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for calling us into one body through Jesus Christ. Though divisions exist in the church, remind us that our true unity is found in You. Help me to love my brothers and sisters in Christ, regardless of differences, and to focus on what unites us—Christ and the gospel. Keep me from pride and judgment, and give me a heart that seeks peace and understanding. Humble me, Lord. Use me to be Your agent of peace, unity, and love. May Your church reflect the love, grace, and truth of Christ so that the world may see Your glory. Use me as an instrument of unity and reconciliation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
