💁🏻 Concept: Elders / Leaders
In the New Testament, elders (Greek: presbyteros) were appointed to shepherd, teach, and oversee local churches. They are also called overseers (bishop - episkopos) and pastors (shepherds - poimen), showing their responsibility to care for God’s flock.

Notes:
1. Elders, bishops and pastors refer to the same role. 
2. Elders are leaders of the New Testament churches. 
3. Elders are selected mainly by moral standard.

1. It is primarily a function, not just a title.
2. It is primarily about morality, not just skills.   
3. It is primarily about serving, not being served.

1. Lead according to your own God-given capacity. 
2. Lead as a messenger who lives the message. 
3. Lead a small group in your church or community.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to lead in the capacity You have given me. Help me to be a leader who reflects Christ—serving rather than seeking to be served. Grant me wisdom to lead with humility, integrity, and love. Strengthen my character so that my leadership is built on good character rather than mere ability. Teach me to shepherd others with patience and grace, always pointing them to You. May I lead in my home, church, and community in a way that glorifies You. Fill me with Your Spirit and guide my steps daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
