💁🏻 Concept: Hell
Hell is the place of eternal conscious punishment for the wicked. It is where God’s justice is revealed in full against sin, and it is the final separation from His loving presence. Jesus spoke about hell more than anyone else—not to scare us, but to warn us and call us to repentance. Though it is a hard truth, understanding hell helps us grasp the seriousness of sin and the beauty of salvation.

3. Have deep gratitude for the gospel.

Why is it important to talk about hell even though it’s uncomfortable?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Righteous and holy God, I tremble at the reality of hell. Thank You for sending Jesus to save me from the judgment I deserve. Help me to never take Your grace lightly. Give me a broken heart for those who are far from You. Make me bold to speak the truth in love, and compassionate in sharing the gospel with urgency. Remind me daily of the seriousness of sin and the preciousness of salvation. Help me to live with reverence, gratefulness, and joy in Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
