💁🏻 Concept: Materialism
Materialism is the belief that only physical matter exists and that everything—including thoughts, emotions, and even the soul—can be explained by material causes. It denies the existence of anything spiritual or supernatural. This worldview stands in direct contrast to the Christian belief in a Creator God, spiritual realities, and eternal life. 

 

📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 6:19–21
(Genesis 1:1; Ecclesiastes 3:11; John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 4:18; Colossians 3:1–2)

1. Materialism makes people become materialistic.

3. Treat this present life as an investment for eternity.

Father God, thank You for creating both the seen and unseen. In a world that often denies Your presence and seeks fulfillment only in material things, help me to live with an eternal perspective. Remind me daily that I am more than flesh and blood—I am both physical and spiritual created for Your glory. Guard my heart from loving temporary things too much, and awaken in me a deeper hunger for Your Word, Your presence, and Your eternal kingdom. Teach me to invest my life for the expansion of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
