💁🏻 Concept: Names of God
The names of God in Scripture are not just labels—they are revelations of His character, power, and relationship with His people. Each name carries with it a glimpse of who He is: Yahweh speaks of His eternal, self-existent nature; El Shaddai of His mighty sufficiency; Jehovah Jireh of His provision. These names remind us that God is not distant or impersonal—He reveals Himself through names that meet us in our needs, circumstances, and worship.
The Ten Names of God:
1. Yahweh - I Am Who I Am
2. Elohim - Creator God
3. Adonai - Lord, Master
4. El Shaddai - God Almighty
5. Jehovah Jireh - The Lord Will Provide
6. Jehovah Rapha - The Lord Who Heals
7. Jehovah Shalom - The Lord Is Peace
8. Jehovah Nissi - The Lord Is My Banner
9. Jehovah Tsidkenu - The Lord Is Our Righteousness
10. Emmanuel - God With Us
Jesus: Yahweh Saves

🙏🏼 Prayer:
O Lord, You are Yahweh, the eternal “I Am.” You are El Roi, the God who sees me, and Jehovah Shalom, my peace in the storm. Thank You for revealing Yourself through Your names that meet me exactly where I am. When I am afraid, remind me that You are my Shepherd. When I feel weak, You are my Strength. Help me trust not just in what You do, but in who You are. May my heart overflow with worship as I grow deeper in knowing Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
