Daily Devo #48: Thank God for Material and Spiritual Blessings

📖 Scripture: Hebrews 12:28

 

👨‍💻 Teaching:

1. Thankfulness is a habit to develop.

2. Thankfulness should include spiritual blessings.

3. Thankfulness is a part of worship.

 

💪 Application:

1. Form a habit of thanking God all the time.

2. Thank God for spiritual blessings.

3. Start each day through prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.

 

🎙Discussion: Why should we thank God for spiritual and eternal blessings more than the material and temporal blessings?

 

🙏 Prayer: Father, forgive me when I focus too much on material blessings rather than spiritual blessings. Please redirect my heart to focus on things above, where Christ is seated. Lord, thank You because I have already overcome the fear of death and judgment. Thank You because I am saved through the blood of Jesus. I have a new life through the resurrection of Jesus. I have overcome through the finished work of Christ. Thank You! I pray this in Jesus' name, amen!
