Daily Devotions #49: A Person With a Thankful Heart Glorifies God

 

📖 Scripture: Psalm 9:1

1. Thankfulness is a natural response to God’s goodness.

2. Thankfulness is returning the glory and honor to God.

3. Thankfulness is being conscious of God’s movement.

 

💪 Application:

1. Tell the world about God’s wonderful work.

2. Aim for God’s commendation.

3. Be conscious of God’s work in our midst.

 

🎙Discussion: Why do we need to be conscious of God’s work at the same time be ready to thank God?

 

🙏 Prayer: Father, thank You for our series this week about thankfulness. I pray that You will change my heart into a grateful one, always mindful of Your presence and work. Please make me ready to thank You and praise You for every kindness You have allowed me to experience. I want to share with the world how good You have been to me. I pray this in Jesus’ name… Amen!
