Why do we need to anticipate and prepare ourselves for the testing of our faith?

Heavenly Father, it is my honor to make Your name renowned among the people around me. Your Word says that this is only possible when I have faith in You. So, Lord, please increase my faith and enable me to obey You, so that I may experience Your marvelous work in my life. Please make Your name great and famous among the people around me. May this prayer be pleasing to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
