1. Surrender all our beliefs and interpretations.
2. Submit traditions, reason, and experiences.
3. Supplement our studies of the Scripture with:
 a. Prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit
 b. Careful exegesis (not eisegesis)
 c. Fellow believers’ interpretations

Why is the teachings of the Scripture our ultimate standard to test the truthfulness of our traditions, reason, and experiences?

🙏 Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for giving us Your Word as the highest authority in our lives. I surrender all my beliefs and interpretations to You, trusting that Scripture is my guide. Help me to recognize that there is no equal to Your truth. I submit my traditions, reason, and experiences to the authority of Your Word. Teach me to rely on Scripture for my salvation, my Christian living, and to truly know You and Your will. May I always supplement my study of the Bible with prayer and depending on the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen!
