Why does entitlement hinder thankfulness, and how can we cultivate a heart of gratitude?

🙏 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many blessings You give every day. Forgive me for the times I have been quick to ask but slow to give thanks. Help me to see and appreciate Your goodness in my life. Teach me to pray with a heart full of gratitude, not just requests. Guard me from entitlement, which steals joy and thankfulness. Make me sensitive to even the smallest of Your blessings, and help me to say “thank You” sincerely and often. May my life reflect a heart that pleases You through gratefulness. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen!
