💁🏻 Concept: Dying with ChristThis concept describes the believer’s break from their old life of sin through union with Christ by faith. Just as Christ died and rose again, we die to our sinful nature and are raised to a new life in Him. This truth reminds us that transformation is not about self-improvement but about surrendering our lives to Christ.
📖 Bible Readings: Romans 6:6-8(2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:22-24; Galatians 5:24; Romans 6:6; Colossians 3:5; Romans 8:13, 13:14; Galatians 2:20, 5:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Peter 2:24; Colossians 2:2-3, 3:3; Luke 9:23-24)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. Dying with Christ means dying to the old self. 2. Dying with Christ means crucifying our sins. 3. Dying with Christ means daily surrender.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Surrender your life to Jesus. 2. Crucify the desires of the flesh.3. Die and live for Christ.
🎙Discussion:What does it mean for you to “die with Christ” daily?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of new life in Christ. I surrender my old self to You, knowing that I am no longer a slave to sin. Help me to walk in the power of His resurrection, leaving behind the things that hold me back. When I struggle, remind me that I am no longer defined by my past but by Your grace. Give me the strength to take up my cross daily and follow You with faith and obedience. Let my life reflect Your glory as I live in the freedom You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DualismDualism is the belief that God and the material universe have eternally existed as two opposing forces. This view suggests that there is an ongoing, equal struggle between good and evil. However, Scripture teaches that God alone is eternal, sovereign, and supreme. Evil is not an equal force to God but a temporary rebellion that will be ultimately defeated.
📖 Bible Readings: John 1:3(Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16-17, 3:23-24; Isaiah 45:5-7; John 1:1-3; Job 42:2; Revelation 21:1-4)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. God alone is eternal and uncreated. 2. Evil has a beginning and end. 3. Christ is Lord over all including the material world.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Reject dualistic pagan worldview. 2. Embrace wholistic biblical worldview.3. Make secular sacred.
🎙Discussion:How can you practically turn your secular space into sacred space?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, I praise You as the one true, eternal, and uncreated God. You alone reign supreme, and no force of evil can rival You. Thank You for revealing that evil is not eternal but a temporary rebellion destined for defeat. Help me reject the false idea that the material world is separate from Your rule. Teach me to embrace a wholistic, biblical worldview where all of life is sacred under Christ’s Lordship. Strengthen my faith so I may live boldly, transforming every space—whether church, work, kitchen, home, or community—into a place that glorifies You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

📖 Bible Readings: Titus 1:9(John 8:31-32; Titus 1:9; 1 Timothy 4:16; Matthew 7:24-27; Colossians 2:6-8; Colossians 2:8; Ephesians 4:14-15; Romans 6:17; James 1:22)

🎙Discussion:Why is it dangerous for a Christian to live without biblical doctrine?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your Word as the foundation of truth. Help me to love sound doctrine, to seek wisdom in Your Scriptures, and to live according to Your teachings. Protect me from deception and strengthen my faith so that I may walk in truth. Give me discernment to recognize what aligns with Your Word and reject anything that leads me away from You. May my life reflect the beauty of sound doctrine as I follow Christ in obedience and love. Keep my heart rooted in Your truth always. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Distinguishing Between SpiritsDiscernment of spirits, primarily, is the ability to judge between true and false teachings by the standard of Scripture. This may include the ability to recognize the influence of the Holy Spirit or of demonic spirits in a person.
📖 Bible Readings: 1 John 4:1(Acts 17:11; 1 Timothy 4:16; Matthew 7:15-20; 1 Corinthians 12:10; Hebrews 5:14; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:Three tests of the Spirit or spirit (teaching):1. The test of doctrine: Aligns with God’s truth.2. The test of practice: Reflects God’s holiness.3. The test of love: Demonstrates God’s love.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Test every teaching through the lens of the Bible. 2. Practice what you preach. 3. Love the unlovable with the love of Christ.
🎙Discussion:Have you passed the three tests? Why is it important to practice what we preach and love like Jesus?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the wisdom to discern truth from error. In a world filled with deception, help me to stand firm in Your Word. Teach me to test every spirit and not be swayed by teachings that sound good but contradict Your truth. Give me a heart that seeks wisdom and a mind that is alert to the schemes of the enemy. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may grow in discernment and walk in truth daily. May I always rely on You, the source of all wisdom and most of all Father, I pray, that You will teach me to love like Jesus. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DispensationalismDispensationalism is a theological system that began in the 19th century with J. N. Darby. It teaches a sharp distinction between Israel and the Church, a pre-tribulational rapture, and a literal fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies for national Israel. It also divides biblical history into seven dispensations: Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace, Millennial Kingdom.
However, Scripture presents a unified redemptive plan—Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Completion—where Christ began restoring this broken world through the Great Commission at His first coming, leading to its fulfillment at His second coming.
📖 Bible Readings: Matthew 5:13-16(Isaiah 9:6-7, 11:9; Daniel 2:35, 44; Habakkuk 2:14; Matthew 13:31-33; Psalm 2:8, 110:1; 1 Corinthians 15:25-26; Matthew 28:18-20; Revelation 11:15; Genesis 12:2-3; Romans 11:17-24; Hebrews 12:22-24; Ephesians 2:14-16; Galatians 3:16-29)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. The church is salt and light in this dark world. 2. The church succeeds in the Great Commission. 3. The church will become successful through the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God/Christ.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Have an open dialogue with respect for each other. 2. Honor God by studying the Bible together. 3. Highlight unity in Christ: “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.”
🎙Discussion:Do you believe that the church will succeed in discipling all nations? Why or why not?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for calling Your Church to be salt and light in this dark world. You have not left us powerless, but through the indwelling presence of Your Spirit, You equip us to fulfill the Great Commission. Strengthen my faith to trust that Your kingdom is advancing and that the gospel will transform the nations. Remove fear and doubt from my heart. Help me to pursue unity with my fellow believers—standing firm in essentials, extending liberty in non-essentials, and showing charity and love in all things. May I honor You by studying Your Word faithfully and engaging in open, respectful dialogue that reflects Your love. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Distortion of RolesAfter the Fall, the God-ordained roles of men and women were fundamentally distorted as a direct result of sin. This distortion leads to conflict, broken relationships, and power struggles in marriage and society. Instead of servant leadership and loving submission, sin introduced domination, passivity, and rebellion into human relationships. The struggle between men and women is not part of God’s original design but a consequence of the Fall.
📖 Bible Readings: Genesis 3:16(Genesis 4:7; Genesis 3:16-19; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Colossians 3:18-19; 1 Peter 3:1-7; Titus 2:3-5)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. Sin distorts God’s design for men to lead with love and for women to submit with trust.2. The Fall resulted in conflict, self-centeredness, and struggles for control.3. Christ redeems and restores biblical roles, calling people to fulfill their roles under His Lordship.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Fight for a Christ-centered and God-honoring relationship. 2. Address the roots of the problem through the lens of the Bible. 3. Submit to the Lordship of Christ, and allow His authority to shape your marriage and family.
🎙Discussion:What conflicts are you experiencing right now? How can the Lordship of Christ help heal relationships and strengthen marriages today?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that sin has distorted the beautiful roles You designed for men and women. Instead of love and unity, we often see pride, selfishness, and division. But through Christ, You have given us the power to restore what was broken. Help me to embrace Your wisdom in my relationships. Teach me to lead with humility, to submit with trust, and to love with Christlike devotion. May my life reflect Your perfect order, bringing healing to my family and community. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DictationThe Dictation Theory of the Bible is the view that God dictated every word of Scripture to the human authors, who acted as mere passive scribes or secretaries. According to this theory, the writers of the Bible had no personal input or influence on the text; they simply recorded exactly what God said, word for word, as if taking dictation.
My view: Verbal Plenary Inspiration is the doctrine that every word of Scripture is divinely inspired by God. "Verbal" means God guided the exact words, and "plenary" means all parts of Scripture are equally inspired. This affirms that the Bible is entirely trustworthy, without error in its original manuscripts, and fully authoritative in matters of faith and life.
📖 Bible Readings: 2 Peter 1:20-21(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18; Psalm 19:7-9; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 40:8)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:The Bible:1. It is influenced by human personalities. 2. It is God’s very Word, not merely human ideas.3. It is fully inspired, reliable, and authoritative.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Read the Bible as often as possible. 2. Dive into the heart and mind of God. 3. Obey God’s commands with joy.
🎙Discussion:Why is it important to have a consistent schedule for bible reading and prayer time?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of Your Word—perfect, inspired, and life-giving. Help me to treasure it not just as a book of wisdom, but as Your very breath, revealing Your heart and truth. Strengthen my faith to trust every word, knowing that Scripture is my firm foundation, my light in darkness, and my guide in every season. Give me a heart that delights in obeying Your commands. When doubts creep in, remind me that Your Word stands unshaken forever. Make me a faithful student, longing to know You more each day. This I pray, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DichotomyThe theory of dichotomy teaches that human beings consist of two essential parts: body and spirit. The terms soul and spirit are used interchangeably in Scripture, referring to the same immaterial part of man. The soul/spirit is what continues after death and is ultimately reunited with the body in the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:42-44). Unlike trichotomy, which separates the soul and spirit, dichotomy affirms the unity of our immaterial being in relationship with God.
📖 Bible Readings: Genesis 2:7(Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7, 21-23; Luke 1:46-47; Isaiah 26:9; Matthew 6:25, 10:28; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Corinthians 5:8; Ecclesiastes 12:7; 1 Corinthians 15:42-44)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. Man is both physical and spiritual. 2. The spirit lives on after death. 3. God cares for both the body and spirit.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Value eternity by investing in God’s Kingdom. 2. Apply the whole gospel to the whole person.3. Nourish both the physical and the spiritual.
🎙Discussion:How does knowing that you will live forever change the way you live now?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for making me both body and spirit, fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Help me to see life through the lens of eternity, knowing that my life belongs to You. Keep me from living only for what is temporary, and guide my heart to seek Christ, who alone secures my salvation. As I wait for the final resurrection, strengthen me to honor You in both body and spirit. May I walk in wisdom, serve with purpose, and glorify You in all that I do. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DeterminismDeterminism is the belief that everything that happens is caused by something else and could not have happened differently. It means that all events, decisions, and actions are the result of prior causes, whether from nature, fate, or God's plan.
📖 Bible Readings: Proverbs 16:9(Genesis 50:20; Exodus 9:16; Proverbs 19:21, 21:1; Romans 8:28, 9:16, 10:9-10; Philippians 2:12-13; Ephesians 1:11; Daniel 4:35; Jeremiah 10:23; Isaiah 46:9-10; Matthew 22:14; Acts 2:23, 4:27-28, 13:48; Genesis 50:20; John 6:37, 44)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. The Bible teaches that God has a plan. 2. The Bible teaches that we need to be faithful. 3. The Bible teaches that humans are created free.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Have faith in God and surrender all your worries.2. Do your best always and do not rely on fate.3. Be faithful while embracing “Bahala na si Lord” mentality.
🎙Discussion:How does knowing that God holds the future help you trust Him more?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, I thank You that nothing happens outside Your will. Even when life seems uncertain, I trust that You are in control. Help me to rest in Your sovereignty and not be anxious about the future. When things don’t go as I expect, remind me that You are always working for good. Teach me to walk by faith, knowing that Your plans are perfect, even when I don’t understand. May my heart be at peace, my mind be steadfast, and my trust in You grow deeper each day. 💁🏻 Concept: DepravityDepravity means sin has corrupted every part of human nature—mind, heart, and will. It does not mean people are as evil as they could be, but it does mean they are unable to seek God on their own. Only God’s grace can rescue sinners and bring them to salvation.
📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 2:14(Genesis 6:5; Psalm 14:2-3; Romans 3:10-12, 23; Ephesians 2:1-5; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Jeremiah 17:9; Isaiah 64:6; John 3:19, 6:44; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Titus 3:3-5; Romans 5:8, 12, 8:7-8; Titus 2:11-12)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. Sin affects every aspect of human nature.2. Seeking to honor God is not natural. 3. Salvation is entirely a work of God’s grace.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Acknowledge your need for God’s grace. 2. Repent sincerely from the mind, heart, and will.3. Trust in Christ alone for your salvation and transformation.
🎙Discussion:Why is it important to understand that salvation is entirely by God’s grace and not by our own efforts?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, I humbly acknowledge that apart from You, I am lost in sin. My mind, heart, and will are affected by depravity, and I cannot seek You on my own. But in Your love, You sent Christ to rescue me. Thank You for Your grace that saves, restores, and transforms. Help me to trust fully in You, knowing that my salvation is Your work alone. Keep me from pride and self-reliance, and draw me closer to You every day. May I live in gratitude for Your mercy and share Your grace with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Demonic InfluenceThe term demonized (δαιμονίζομαι) refers to being under demonic influence. In Scripture, this term is often associated with more extreme cases of demonic control, affecting a person’s mind, body, and spirit. However, the Bible makes it clear that Christ has ultimate power over the demonic realm. While believers cannot be possessed, they can experience spiritual attacks. This is why we must remain vigilant and rely on God’s power.
Some of the demonic influences: 1. Distortion of the truth2. Spiritual bondage to sin3. Hatred of Christians and the church4. Apathy and hardness of heart5. Fleshly thinking and worldliness6. Addiction to drugs, sex, pornography, orgy, fornication, etc. 7. Obsession to occultism and false religions8. Witchcraft, divination, spiritism, New Age, astrology, horoscopes, tarot cards, faith healing, necromancy, and other similar practices
📖 Bible Readings: Mark 5:1-20(Matthew 12:43-45; Luke 10:17-20; 1 Peter 5:8-9; Ephesians 6:10-18; James 4:7; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Acts 26:17-18; Colossians 2:15; 1 Corinthians 6:18, 10:13; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, 11:14; 2 Timothy 2:22; 1 John 4:4; Revelation 12:9-12, 16:14)

Fill me with Your Spirit, that I may resist every scheme of the devil. Guard my mind, strengthen my faith, and keep my heart fixed on You. 💁🏻 Concept: DemonsDemons are evil angels who rebelled against God and now actively work against His kingdom. They deceive, tempt, and seek to destroy, but they remain under God’s sovereign control. While their influence is real, they cannot overcome those who are in Christ. Believers are called to stand firm in faith, knowing that Jesus has already defeated the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection.
📖 Bible Readings: Ephesians 6:12(Daniel 10:12-13, 20-21; Deuteronomy 32:8; Revelation 2:13; 1 Peter 5:8-9; James 4:7; Matthew 12:43-45; Mark 5:1-13; Luke 10:19; John 8:31-32; Acts 26:17-18; Colossians 2:15; 1 Corinthians 6:18, 10:13; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, 11:14; 2 Timothy 2:22; 1 John 4:4; Revelation 12:9-12, 16:14)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. Demons are real and active.2. Demons deceive and lead people astray.3. Demons have no authority over Christians.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Flee from temptation and devil’s scheme. 2. Attack Satan’s territory through the gospel. 3. Live by the truth as a defense against Satan’s lies.
🎙Discussion:Why should Christians use the “flee and attack” strategy?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that there is a battle between good and evil, but I trust that You have already won the victory through Jesus Christ. Strengthen me to flee from the enemy’s schemes, to stand firm in Your truth, and to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. When fear arises, remind me that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Guard my heart, mind, and soul from deception, and help me to live a righteous life for Your glory. May my life be a testimony of Your victory over darkness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: DeismIt is the belief that a supreme being, often identified as God, created the universe but does not intervene in its affairs. Deists reject divine revelation, miracles, and supernatural involvement in human history. This view contrasts with Christian theism, which holds that God remains actively involved in the world.
📖 Bible Readings: Colossians 1:17(Matthew 7:7-8, 10:29-31; John 1:1-14; Hebrews 1:3; Psalm 139:7-10; Daniel 2:21; Romans 8:28)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:1. God is actively involved in the world.2. God is our Father who sent for us His Son.3. God is working for the good of those who love Him.
💪🏼 Applications:1. Fear not, for God is actively working.2. Fight harder, for the battle is the Lord’s. 3. Focus on God, for He makes all things beautiful in His time.
🎙Discussion:How does knowing that God is actively involved in the world help us overcome fear?
🙏🏼 Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for being present in my life and in the world. You are not distant or silent—you are working in ways I cannot always see. When fear creeps in, remind me that You are in control. When I feel weak, strengthen me, knowing I am never alone. Help me to fix my eyes on Your greater glory and not my own worries. Direct my heart to trust in Your perfect plan, even when life feels uncertain. May my faith grow deeper as I see Your hand in all things. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

🙏🏼 Prayer:Lord God, You are eternal, wise, and sovereign. Your decrees stand forever, and nothing can change Your plans. Help me to trust You completely, knowing that You are in control. Remind me that life is not about me but about Your glory. When I don’t understand, strengthen my faith to believe that You are always good. Teach me to live each day for You, glorifying You in all circumstances. I surrender my plans, my worries, and my future into Your hands. May my life reflect Your wisdom and bring You honor. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
