👨‍💻 Teaching: 1. Obeying and honoring our parents invoke God’s promised blessings. 2. Parents are mandated to disciple their children. 3. Our imperfections must not stop us to grow in the Lord.
💪 Application:1. Children, obey and honor your parents.2. Parents, disciple your children. 3. Grow in the Lord together as a family. 🎙Discussion:Why should parents take on the responsibility of discipling their children rather than leaving it to the church? 
🙏 Prayer:Father, thank You for helping me understand that it is the parents' responsibility to disciple their children, and that children are blessed with a long and fulfilling life when they honor their parents. Thank You for this truth. May my entire family live according to the teachings of Christ. Lord, please make Jesus the center of our family. May Your name be glorified through us. In Jesus' name, amen!

The Bible teaches both:1. God’s plan (God’s sovereignty)2. Human plan (human responsibility)
👨‍💻 Teaching: 1. People have many plans but only God’s plan will happen. 2. All human decisions and actions happen within God’s sovereignty.  3. Nothing happens outside of God. 4. Satan cannot move without God’s permission. 
💪 Application:1. Align your plan with God’s plan. 2. Make God-glorifying decisions. 3. Find security in God’s sovereignty. 4. Look for God’s escape when being tempted. 
🎙Discussion:Why is it comforting to know that nothing happens outside of God’s sovereign control?
🙏 Prayer:Sovereign Lord, thank You for the comforting truth that all human decisions and actions happen within Your sovereign control. Even Satan and demons have to ask Your permission in order to tempt me. When I am being tempted, please help me look for God’s escape so that I may overcome temptations.

💪 Application:1. Trust that God can make something good out of evil. 2. Surrender your life to God who can turn your bad story into a beautiful story. 3. Be part of God’s work of restoration.  
🎙Discussion:Why is surrendering our lives to God the only way to to turn our story into a beautiful story? 
🙏 Prayer:Sovereign Lord, thank You because You are the God who can make something good out of evil. I surrender myself to you because You are the only One who can turn my bad story into a good story. I give my life to You. Please show me how good and sovereign You are.

👨‍💻 Teaching: 1. God tests but Satan tempts. 2. God does not tempt anyone. 3. People sin out of their own free will.  4. All events in the whole creation is sovereignly controlled by God. 
💪 Application:1. Put the blame on Satan and people but never on God. 2. Never doubt the goodness and sovereignty of God. 3. Praise God because despite the sin of humanity, God has a plan of redemption. 4. Find comfort and security in God’s sovereignty. 
🎙Discussion:Why should we never blame God because of human suffering?
🙏 Prayer:Sovereign Lord, You are holy and I am a sinner. I am sorry Lord for sinning against You. I am the only one to blame. I choose evil because of my evil desires. Thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for Your cleansing. You are both good and sovereign. In You alone I find peace.

Let them become worshippers and servants of Jesus. I pray that they will realize that apart from Jesus, life has no meaning—it is empty and worthless. 💪 Application:1. Do not be afraid because God did not leave our lives to chance. 2. Trust God that He knows what He is doing and do not rebel against God.3. Accept the reality that we cannot fully understand the wisdom and sovereignty of God. 
🎙Discussion:Why do we have to be humble and not rebel against God when we go through a Job-like experience? 
🙏 Prayer:Lord, I humble myself before You. My finite wisdom cannot understand Your infinite wisdom. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than my ways, Your thoughts than my thoughts. I cannot fully understand You but I trust Your wisdom and Your sovereign control over the situations of my life.

Lord, I offer myself to You as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You as my true and proper worship. Let me consciously serve You 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week. I offer myself to You, Lord. May my life contribute to Jesus’ campaign of spreading the gospel throughout the whole world. I look forward to the future when the nations are discipled and obedient to the teachings of Jesus. 💪 Application:1. Expect that some thorns in the flesh would not go away. 2. Rely on God’s grace which enables us to overcome all challenges of life. 3. Trust God’s sovereign decision for every unanswered prayers. 
🎙Discussion:How does the sufficiency of God’s grace comfort us when we face trials of many kinds? 
🙏 Prayer:Sovereign Lord, You are sovereign over Satan, thorns in the flesh, and all kinds of suffering. Now, I realize that You limit all my trials according to the grace You would give me. For this very reason I trust Your sovereign decision with all my heart.

👨‍💻 Teaching: 1. All people in authority derived their authority from God. 2. All people are directly responsible to God. 3. God’s sovereignty and human responsibility are both biblical.
💪 Application:1. Be responsible since all authorities came from God. 2. Submit to human authorities as long as you do not violate the law of God.  3. Believe that God is in control and humans are still responsible.
🎙Discussion:How can we be more responsible for our God-given position?  
🙏 Prayer:Sovereign Lord, help me represent Your authority to the people under my care. Let me fulfill my duty in Your way and not my way. Let me be responsible for all my roles and positions.
